1 1880 census links George W and William N Beezley. Nicholas Beezley, son o f Thomas Beezley and Nancy Beezley, daughter of Joseph Beezley are note d as having a son, Silas. DOB doesn't match, but it does fit better wit h Nicholas and Nancy's marriage date. Silas, Marillah and Wm N are all l isted as School Teachers. George W works on a rail road.

Because 1880 census finds Silas in same town, similar ages and locale o f parents with George and Elizabeth, I'm supposing them to be siblings.

George W. Beezley
One of the leading farmers and citizens of Carr Township, was born Mar. 7 , 1827, in Lawrence Co., Ind. His parents were Isaiah and Sally (Mullen ) Beezley, who came to Ind. From N. Carolina and Kentucky about 1814. G eorge was the eldest of a family of 5, and was raised on a farm, which w as congenial to his taste, and he became a farmer accordingly, and now o wns 327 acres of land. He is one of the many American Citizens who have s ucceeded by dint of hard labor and frugality, which is the only sure ro ad for the honest farmer. In 1849 he was married to Mary A. Plummer, da ughter of Thomas J. Plummer, she died leaving two children; Silas
W. and William N. In 1857 he was again married to Rebecca A. Reed, daug hter of John Reed, of Lawrence Co. To this union there were born five c hildren: Susan C., Thomas B., John I, Clarinda Ida and an infant. Losin g his 2nd companion, he again married in 1869, a Miss Eliza R. Breckenr idge, of Lawrence Co., Ind., who was a native of Kentucky, but together w ith her parents, came to Ind., in an early day.
Mr. Beezley is a member of the Christian Church, and is a Democrat in p olitics.

He was employed by the Baldwin Turpentine Still, when a young man. The Company moved to Vancleave, Mississippi in 1922 and Joel Murphree went with them. He married Matilda there and raised his family. He died in 1943, and Matilda remarried to Rev. C. F. Taylor until her death in 1969. They both are buried at Evergreen Cemetary in Vancleave, Miss.
