  "Minnie Juanita Beasley (Anson, Texas) Minnie Juanita Beasley, 88, died Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at her home in Truby, Texas. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 6,2008 at Hawley Church of Christ with Dan Coker and P.B. Middlebrook officiating. Burial wil be in Hawley Cemtery directed by Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home. Born Novenber 29, 1919, Juanita was a daughter of W.H. and Lula (Hunter) Hollis. She married J.L. Besley on January 14, 1937 in Anson, Texas. They owned and operated Beasley Well Service in Hawley, Texas for many years. In 1972 they moved to Truby, Texas where they farmed, ranched and watched their grandkids grow up. Juanita served in many areas of her community. She was president of the Hawley Water Board and secretary of the Texas Cowboys Christmas Ball. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers. Survivors include her husband, J.L. Beasley of Hawley; one son, J.L. Beasley, Jr. and wife, Dorothy of Aspermont; two daughters, Joy Ashworth of Anson, Judy Cooley and husband, Richard of Hawley; fourteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren. Family visitaiton will be Friday, September 5, 2008, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home, 732 Ave I in Anson."
