William Leonard and Pocohantas lived their married life in Pike County, Alabama. William L. farmed most of his life. He bought Land in several Sections of Pike County. They lived off Needmore Rd., Most of their married life. Poco died at age 50 years, but those years she lived she was a loving wife, mother and friend. William L., was a good provider and always had a helping hand and a home for anyone that needed it. His Father Robert died when he was only twelve years old, so he helped his mother with making a home and keeping the family together. After Pocohantas died he remarried Martha Beck, who helped him finish raising his family. He was a Mason and a good Neighbor. They are buried with some of their young children at Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church off Needmore Rd., Pike Co., Ala.
