  Family names related by Mary Bradie Bryan Beasley. Children's birth and marriage dates are from the Bible of Annie Beasley. Funeral home record states Timothy's residence was Svea, FL; his occupation was farmer. Cause of death was "fell on scales at Cannon Gin" at Florala, AL. Family members that remember the incident believe he was murdered for the purpose of robbery, and that Annie, alone with a daughter at home, did not press the case for fear of reprisal. Some speculate that the murderer (if, in fact, there was a murder) was related to the victim.
