A home wedding was chosen by Lucille B Barnard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs J oh Barnard of Corland, who became the bride of Nathaniel W Beezley, son o f Mr. and Mrs. Othello Beezley, 108 S. 40th, Lincoln, on Febr. 4. Before A background of lighted candles and flowers, the Rev. Lawrence B oyer performed the ceremony in the presence of 23 members of the famili es of the bridal couple. The bride wore a light blue gabardine suit with a white carnation corsa ge tied with silver ribbon. Her jewelry was a rhinestone necklace and b racelet set, a gift of the groom. Miss Lulu Barnard, sister of the bride, of Fairbury as maid of honor wo re a royal blue dress with pink carnation corsage with silver trim. The bride's mother wore a black dressmaker suit and the groom's mother w ore a gown of medium blue. O. R. H. Beezley of Lincoln, brother of the groom, was best man. Lunch was served following the ceremony. A three tier cake trimmed in w hite and blue centered the table. Mrs. F. P. Hansel and Mrs. Leonard Ba rnard assisted with the serving. Guests were Lulu Barnard of Fairbury, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Beezley, Mr. an d Mrs. Othello Beezley, Mr. and Mrs. Orval Beezley, O. R. H. Beezley of L incoln, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Barnard and Robert Donald of Princeton, Mr. a nd Mrs, Leonard Barnard. Everett and Phyllis and Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Han sel, Gary and Bradley of Cortland. The bride is a 1944 graduate of Beatrice high school and the groom was g raduated at the end of the first semester from the University of Nebras ka where he received his degree in civil engineering. The couple left immediately after the lunch for a week in Kansas City, M o. They will live in Lincoln where the groom working for the city engin eer is working for the city engineer.
